FGFBP2 was identified as a Th1\/Tc1 specific secretory protein is expressed preferentially in cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) and natural killer (NK) cells and might be involved in essential processes of CTL-mediated immunity. An increase expression of FGFBP2 may be associated with atopic asthma and mild extrinsic asthma. Recently, an observation revealed that FGFBP2 correlate strongly with histology, stage and outcome in ovarian, and it might be a potential prognostic biomarker.
