Microtubules, polymers of alpha and beta tubulin subunits, form the mitotic spindle of a dividing cell and help to organize membranous organelles during interphase. Katanin is a heterodimer that consists of a 60 kDa ATPase (p60 subunit A 1) and an 80 kDa accessory protein (p80 subunit B 1). The p60 subunit acts to sever and disassemble microtubules, while the p80 subunit targets the enzyme to the centrosome. Katanin is a member of the AAA family of ATPases.
Specification
Tested Reactivity: human, mouse, rat
Cited Reactivity: human, mouse, rat
Host / Isotype: Rabbit / IgG
Class: Polyclonal
Type: Antibody
Immunogen: CatNo: Ag6836 Product name: Recombinant human KATNB1 protein Source: e coli. -derived, PGEX-4T Tag: GST Domain: 305-655 aa of BC001353 Sequence: VTRTGTVARDPVQDHRPLAQPLPNPSAPLRRIYERPSTTCSKPQRVKQNSESERRSPSSEDDRDERESRAEIQNAEDYNEIFQPKNSISRTPPRRSEPFPAPPEDDAATAKEAAKPSPAMDVQFPVPNLEVLPRPPVVASTPAPKAEPAIIPATRNEPIGLKASDFLPAVKIPQQAELVDEDAMSQIRKGHDTMCVVLTSRHKNLDTVRAVWTMGDIKTSVDSAVAINDLSVVVDLLNIVNQKASLWKLDLCTTVLPQIEKLLQSKYESYVQTGCTSLKLILQRFLPLITDMLAAPPSVGVDISREERLHKCRLCYKQLKSISGLVKSKSGLSGRHGSTFRELHLLMASLD Predict reactive species
Full Name: katanin p80 (WD repeat containing) subunit B 1
Calculated Molecular Weight: 72 kDa
Observed Molecular Weight: 72-80 kDa
GenBank Accession Number: BC001353
Gene Symbol: KATNB1
Gene ID (NCBI): 10300
RRID: AB_10637861
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Form: Liquid
Purification Method: Antigen affinity purification
UNIPROT ID: Q9BVA0
Storage Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3.
Storage Conditions: Store at -20°C.
