B3GNT5 is required for tumorigenicity of breast cancer and glycosylation of B3GNT5 is critical for its protein stabilization (PMID: 35526049). B3GNT5 was highly expressed in human GBM and glioma cell lines in culture, and was associated with poor patient survival (PMID: 32677340).
