BTN3A1 localizes in the cell membrane and belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. BTN/MOG family. BTN3A1 is detected on T-cells, natural killer cells, dendritic cells and macrophages. It is ubiquitously highly expressed in heart, pancreas and lung and moderately expressed in placenta, liver and muscle. BTN3A1 plays a role in T-cell activation and in the adaptive immune response. It also regulates the proliferation of activated T-cells and the release of cytokines and IFNG by activated T-cells. It exists as four isoforms. We detected a 48 kda isoform by western blot.
Specification
Tested Reactivity: human
Cited Reactivity: human
Host / Isotype: Rabbit / IgG
Class: Polyclonal
Type: Antibody
Immunogen: CatNo: Ag18414 Product name: Recombinant human BTN3A1 protein Source: e coli. -derived, PET28a Tag: 6*His Domain: 267-336 aa of BC121800 Sequence: GYFLWQQQEEKKTQFRKKKREQELREMAWSTMKQEQSTRVKLLEELRWRSIQYASRGERHSAYNEWKKAL Predict reactive species
Full Name: butyrophilin, subfamily 3, member A1
Calculated Molecular Weight: 513 aa, 58 kDa
Observed Molecular Weight: 48 kDa
GenBank Accession Number: BC121800
Gene Symbol: BTN3A1
Gene ID (NCBI): 11119
RRID: AB_2879969
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Form: Liquid
Purification Method: Antigen affinity purification
UNIPROT ID: O00481
Storage Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3.
Storage Conditions: Store at -20°C.
