NRAP is a 197 kDa multidomain scaffolding protein from nebulin family with many interation partners such as α-actinin, actin, vinculin and filamin (PMID:21276443). During cardiomyocyte development in the foetal heart, NRAP is involved in myofibrillar assembly and links terminal actin filaments to membrane complexes in the adult heart.
