DAB2IP, is a new member of the Ras GTPase-activating protein family. It interacts directly with DAB2 and has distinct cellular functions such as modulating different signal cascades associated with cell proliferation, survival, apoptosis and metastasis. The aberrant alteration of DAB2IP in cancer is caused by a variety of mechanisms, including the aberrant promoter methylation, histone deacetylation, and others (PMID: 26658103). DAB2IP is reported to bind with Apoptosis signal-regulating kinase 1 (ASK1), and is called ASK1 Interacting Protein (AIP1) (PMID: 12813029). DAB2IP function is that of a tumor suppressor in tumor cell growth, metastasis, and other aspects in cancer progression. In prostate cancer, DAB2IP expression was repressed by promoter methylation and histone modification (PMID: 12446720, PMID: 15817459).\n\u003cb\u003eSpecification\u003c\/b\u003e\nTested Reactivity: human, mouse, rat\nHost \/ Isotype: Rabbit \/ IgG\nClass: Polyclonal\nType: Antibody\nImmunogen: CatNo: Ag31340 Product name: Recombinant human DAB2IP protein Source: e coli. -derived, PGEX-4T Tag: GST Domain: 720-931 aa of BC146762 Sequence: RGLGDSGSEGHSSLSSHSNSEELAAAAKLGSFSTAAEELARRPGELARRQMSLTEKGGQPTVPRQNSAGPQRRIDQPPPPPPPPPPAPRGRTPPNLLSTLQYPRPSSGTLASASPDWVGPSTRLRQQSSSSKGDSPELKPRAVHKQGPSPVSPNALDRTAAWLLTMNAQLLEDEGLGPDPPHRDRLRSKDELSQAEKDLAVLQDKLRISTKK Predict reactive species\nFull Name: DAB2 interacting protein\nCalculated Molecular Weight: 1189 aa, 132 kDa\nObserved Molecular Weight: 125-132 kDa\nGenBank Accession Number: BC146762\nGene Symbol: DAB2IP\nGene ID (NCBI): 153090\nConjugate: Unconjugated\nForm: Liquid\nPurification Method: Antigen affinity purification\nUNIPROT ID: Q5VWQ8\nStorage Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3.\nStorage Conditions: Store at -20°C.
