CSTB plays various functions in a variety of diseases, including epithelial ovarian cancer, colon cancer, and myoclonus epilepsy. Evidence indicates that mutations in CSTB are responsible for the primary defects in patients with progressive myoclonic epilepsy (EPM1). One type of mutation responsible for EPM1 is the expansion in the promoter region of this gene of a CCCCGCCCCGCG repeat from 2-3 copies to 30-78 copies.
Specification
Tested Reactivity: human
Host / Isotype: Mouse / IgG1
Class: Monoclonal
Type: Antibody
Immunogen: CatNo: Ag21291 Product name: Recombinant human CSTB protein Source: e coli. -derived, PET28a Tag: 6*His Domain: 1-98 aa of BC003370 Sequence: MMCGAPSATQPATAETQHIADQVRSQLEEKENKKFPVFKAVSFKSQVVAGTNYFIKVHVGDEDFVHLRVFQSLPHENKPLTLSNYQTNKAKHDELTYF Predict reactive species
Full Name: cystatin B (stefin B)
Calculated Molecular Weight: 11 kDa
Observed Molecular Weight: 11-14 kDa
GenBank Accession Number: BC003370
Gene Symbol: Cystatin B
Gene ID (NCBI): 1476
RRID: AB_2882155
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Form: Liquid
Purification Method: Protein G purification
UNIPROT ID: P04080
Storage Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3.
Storage Conditions: Store at -20°C.
