Unlike traditional methods of assessing the success of biotinylation, such as HABA assays, which can be tedious and time consuming, this kit requires only 10 minutes to perform and very small quantities of your antibody conjugate.\u003cbr\u003e\nThe key component of the kit is a nitrocellulose membrane containing a Test line of immobilized Protein A and Protein G with high affinity for the Fc region of a variety of IgG molecules, and a 40 nm Gold-Streptavidin conjugate for detection. When the biotinylated antibody is mixed with the Gold-Streptavidin conjugate, it forms a complex that flows along the nitrocellulose membrane and binds to the Protein A and Protein G on the Test line.
