biolegend-335406
Biolegend, 335406, Purified anti-human CD158d (KIR2DL4) Antibody, 100μg

CD158 molecules, also known as KIRs (killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptors), are a family of transmembrane proteins with either two (KIR2D) or three (KIR3D) Ig-like extracellular domains. Some KIRs with long cytoplasmic domains contain ITIMs and possess inhibitory functions and others with short cytoplasmic region lack ITIMs and have activation functions. Fifteen polymorphic KIR genes have been reported in humans. CD158d is a glycoprotein with two extracellular Ig domain and a long cytoplasmic tail with an ITIM motif. It is expressed primarily on CD56-high and activated NK cells. KIR2DL4 has been reported to bind to the non-classical MHC class I molecule HLA-G.
100μg
Verified Reactivity: Human
Antibody Type: Monoclonal
Host Species: Mouse
Immunogen: KIR2DL4-transfected cells
Formulation: Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide
Preparation: The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Concentration: 0.5 mg/mL
Storage & Handling: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted between 2°C and 8°C.
Application: FC - Quality tested
Recommended Usage: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Application Notes: Clone S23004D may increase the binding of clone mAb 33 on target cells. Based on in-house testing on different KIR-expressing transfectants, clone S23004D does not interact with other KIR protein family members.
RRID: AB_3683354 (BioLegend Cat.
