It's component of the CRD-mediated complex that promotes MYC mRNA stability. Also it is part of the APOB mRNA editosome complex and may modulate the postranscriptional C to U RNA-editing of the APOB mRNA through either by binding to A1CF (APOBEC1 complementation factor), to APOBEC1 or to RNA itself. May be involved in translationally coupled mRNA turnover. Implicated with other RNA-binding proteins in the cytoplasmic deadenylation\/translational and decay interplay of the FOS mRNA mediated by the major coding-region determinant of instability (mCRD) domain. Interacts in vitro preferentially with poly(A) and poly(U) RNA sequences. As previously reported, the 65 and 74 kDa proteins corresponded to two isoforms of SYNCRIP produced from alternatively spliced mRNAs (PMID: 15340051).\n\u003cb\u003eSpecification\u003c\/b\u003e\nTested Reactivity: human\nCited Reactivity: human, mouse\nHost \/ Isotype: Rabbit \/ IgG\nClass: Polyclonal\nType: Antibody\nImmunogen: CatNo: Ag5167 Product name: Recombinant human SYNCRIP protein Source: e coli. -derived, T-HIS Tag: 6*His Domain: 1-350 aa of BC032643 Sequence: MATEHVNGNGTEEPMDTTSAVIHSENFQTLLDAGLPQKVAEKLDEIYVAGLVAHSDLDERAIEALKEFNEDGALAVLQQFKDSDLSHVQNKSAFLCGVMKTYRQREKQGTKVADSSKGPDEAKIKALLERTGYTLDVTTGQRKYGGPPPDSVYSGQQPSVGTEIFVGKIPRDLFEDELVPLFEKAGPIWDLRLMMDPLTGLNRGYAFVTFCTKEAAQEAVKLYNNHEIRSGKHIGVCISVANNRLFVGSIPKSKTKEQILEEFSKVTEGLTDVILYHQPDDKKKNRGFCFLEYEDHKTAAQVKVLFVRNLANTVTEEILEKAFSQFGKLERVKKLKDYAFIHFDERDGAV Predict reactive species\nFull Name: synaptotagmin binding, cytoplasmic RNA interacting protein\nCalculated Molecular Weight: 623 aa, 70 kDa\nObserved Molecular Weight: 64-74 kDa\nGenBank Accession Number: BC032643\nGene Symbol: SYNCRIP\nGene ID (NCBI): 10492\nRRID: AB_2200601\nConjugate: Unconjugated\nForm: Liquid\nPurification Method: Antigen affinity purification\nUNIPROT ID: O60506\nStorage Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3.\nStorage Conditions: Store at -20°C.
