It is also an integral structural component of cartilage and other tissues and acts as a lubricant in joints. Hyaluronidases are a family of enzymes that catalyse the degradation of HA. In humans, there are five functional hyaluronidases: HYAL1, HYAL2, HYAL3, HYAL4 and HYAL5 (also known as SPAM1 or PH-20); plus a pseudogene, HYAL6 (also known as HYALP1). HYAL-1 is present in many tissues and is predominantly found in the plasma and urine (PMID: 16600643). In addition to its function in normal cellular hyaluronan turnover, human HYAL-1 is implicated in cancer proliferation, angiogenesis, and inflammatory diseases (PMID: 17503783).\n\u003cb\u003eSpecification\u003c\/b\u003e\nTested Reactivity: human, mouse\nHost \/ Isotype: Rabbit \/ IgG\nClass: Polyclonal\nType: Antibody\nImmunogen: CatNo: Ag17943 Product name: Recombinant human HYAL1 protein Source: e coli. -derived, PGEX-4T Tag: GST Domain: 131-435 aa of BC035695 Sequence: EAWRPRWAFNWDTKDIYRQRSRALVQAQHPDWPAPQVEAVAQDQFQGAARAWMAGTLQLGRALRPRGLWGFYGFPDCYNYDFLSPNYTGQCPSGIRAQNDQLGWLWGQSRALYPSIYMPAVLEGTGKSQMYVQHRVAEAFRVAVAAGDPNLPVLPYVQIFYDTTNHFLPLDELEHSLGESAAQGAAGVVLWVSWENTRTKESCQAIKEYMDTTLGPFILNVTSGALLCSQALCSGHGRCVRRTSHPKALLLLNPASFSIQLTPGGGPLSLRGALSLEDQAQMAVEFKCRCYPGWQAPWCERKSMW Predict reactive species\nFull Name: hyaluronoglucosaminidase 1\nCalculated Molecular Weight: 435 aa, 48 kDa\nObserved Molecular Weight: 60 kDa\nGenBank Accession Number: BC035695\nGene Symbol: HYAL1\nGene ID (NCBI): 3373\nRRID: AB_2879945\nConjugate: Unconjugated\nForm: Liquid\nPurification Method: Antigen affinity purification\nUNIPROT ID: Q12794\nStorage Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3.\nStorage Conditions: Store at -20°C.
