ANGPTL1 is down-regulated in various cancers, including colorectal cancer (CRC), and its expression is inversely correlated with metastasis and poor clinical outcomes. ANGPTL1 has been shown to suppress angiogenesis, cancer invasion, metastasis, and cancer progression.
