Bop1 plays a role in processing of the 28S and 5.8S rRNAs (ribosomal RNAs) to regulate ribosome biogenesis. And Bop1 also act as a component of Pes1/Bop1/WDR21 (PeBoW) complex for mature 60S ribosome, and consequently acts during cell division at G1 checkpoints (PMID:18670790; PMID:26940494). What's more, abnormal expression of BOP1 was associated with liver or colorectal cancers(PMID:16804918). The molecular weight of the protein we detected was slightly higher, about 117 kd, which is also seen in the article(PMID: 30100995).
Specification
Tested Reactivity: Human, Mouse
Cited Reactivity: human
Host / Isotype: Rabbit / IgG
Class: Polyclonal
Type: Antibody
Immunogen: CatNo: Ag26669 Product name: Recombinant human BOP1 protein Source: e coli. -derived, PET28a Tag: 6*His Domain: 1-135 aa of BC013787 Sequence: MAGSRGAGRTAAPSVRPEKRRSEPELEPEPEPEPPLLCTSPLSHSTGSDSGVSDSEESVFSGLEDSGSDSSEDDDEGDEEGEDGALDDEGHSGIKKTTEEQVQASTPCPRTEMASARIGDEYAEDSSDEEDIRNT Predict reactive species
Full Name: block of proliferation 1
Calculated Molecular Weight: 84 kDa
Observed Molecular Weight: 117 kDa
GenBank Accession Number: BC013787
Gene Symbol: BOP1
Gene ID (NCBI): 23246
RRID: AB_2881123
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Form: Liquid
Purification Method: Antigen affinity purification
UNIPROT ID: Q14137
Storage Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3.
Storage Conditions: Store at -20°C.
