POGZ plays a role in mitotic cell cycle progression and is involved in kinetochore assembly and mitotic sister chromatid cohesion. POGZ plays a role in mitotic chromosome segregation by regulating aurora kinase B/AURKB activation and AURKB and CBX5 dissociation from chromosome arms (PMID:20562864). Heterozygous mutation of POGZ causes White-Sutton syndrome (PMID: 26739615). Expect a band approximately 155 kDa in size corresponding to POGZ by western blotting.
Specification
Tested Reactivity: Human, mouse
Host / Isotype: Rabbit / IgG
Class: Polyclonal
Type: Antibody
Immunogen: CatNo: Ag32435 Product name: Recombinant human POGZ protein Source: e coli. -derived, PGEX-4T Tag: GST Domain: 1178-1400 aa of NM_015100 Sequence: GQMDQPANMPDSILLEAKESGYSDDEIMELWSTRVWQKHTACQRSKGMLVMDCHRTHLSEEVLAMLSASSTLPAVVPAGCSSKIQPLDVCIKRTVKNFLHKKWKEQAREMADTACDSDVLLQLVLVWLGEVLGVIGDCPELVQRSFLVASVLPGPDGNINSPTRNADMQEELIASLEEQLKLSGEHSESSTPRPRSSPEETIEPESLHQLFEGESETESFYGFEEADLDLMEI Predict reactive species
Full Name: pogo transposable element with ZNF domain
Calculated Molecular Weight: 155kd
Observed Molecular Weight: 155 kDa
GenBank Accession Number: NM_015100
Gene Symbol: POGZ
Gene ID (NCBI): 23126
RRID: AB_2935514
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Form: Liquid
Purification Method: Antigen affinity purification
UNIPROT ID: Q7Z3K3
Storage Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3.
Storage Conditions: Store at -20°C.
