Preparation And Storage: Preparation And Storage Store undiluted at 4°C. The monoclonal antibody was purified from tissue culture supernatant or ascites by affinity chromatography. This preparation contains no preservatives, thus it should be handled under aseptic conditions.
Recommended Assay Procedures: Recommended Assay Procedures ELISA: Biotin Rat Anti-Mouse IL-10 (Clone JES5-16E3, Cat. No. 554465) is useful as a detection antibody for sandwich ELISA for measuring mouse IL-10 protein levels and can be paired with Purified Rat Anti-Mouse IL-10 (Clone JES5-2A5, Cat. No 551215) as the capture antibody along with recombinant mouse IL-10 (Cat. No. 550070) as the standard.  For measuring mouse IL-10 in complex biological fluids, such as serum or plasma, investigators are highly encouraged to use the BD OptEIA™ Mouse IL-10 ELISA Set (Cat. No. 555252). Flow Cytometry: The JES5-16E3 antibody is useful for flow cytometric analysis to identify and enumerate IL-10 producing cells within mixed cell populations. Direct conjugates of the JES5-16E3 antibody are especially suitable for these experiments, such as PE Rat Anti-Mouse IL-10 (Cat. No. 554467).
