Waters XSelect CSH 130Å, C18, 3.5 µm, particles, being smaller than typical particles, provide ultimate resolving power. This sorbent contains a low, and carefully-defined, concentration of positive charges that yield comparatively excellent peak shape for a variety of molecular types using either FA- or TFA-containing mobile phases. The fact that the performance of a CSH 130Å, C18, sorbent exhibits little dependence on strong ion pairing agents makes it ideal for LC (UV-directed) purification or MS-directed purification.
