Plastic microcarriers are fabricated from cross-linked polystyrene cores which are similar in composition to traditional cell culture plasticware requiring minimum-to-no adaptation for anchorage-dependent cell types. Non-protein coated surfaces of Plastic microcarriers enable their use in protein-free and chemically defined cell culture applications. Microcarrier lots are manufactured and qualified under an ISO9001 quality management system.

Plastic microcarriers are offered in both non-sterile and sterile ready-to-use formats to serve both research and manufacturing requirements.
