Waters nanoEase M/Z Protein BEH C4 Column, 300Å, 1.7 µm, 150 µm X 100 mm Columns are designed for optimal performance for nano- to micro scale liquid chromatographic separation for biomarker discovery and protein and peptide identification and characterization. All nanoLC columns are designed for use up to 15 kpsi (1,000 Bar) operating pressure and handle pressure fluctuations during injection extremely well and thus provide superior longevity.The columns are equipped with the ZenFit connector, an easy to use, fingertight, tool free liquid connection. This ensures reproducible, leak free connections. The fittings will fit into Waters V-Detail ports as well as into Rheodyne/Vici compatible valves. This specific offering contains Waters patented BEH Technology 300Å pore, C4, 1.7 µm particles. These particles are QC tested with the MassPREP Protein Mix standard (p/n: 186004900) and are optimized to separate proteins based on size, hydrophobicity and isoelectric point. If you compare to traditional C18 phases, the C4 ligand is less retentive and will minimize protein carryover, increase protein recovery, and improve peak capacity.
