The standard protein in this kit is an N-terminal fragment representing approximately 40% of the full-length mass of mature human Elastin. Native signal was detected in serum, plasma (citrate), and plasma (EDTA) sample types. Spiked protein experiments were used to validate serum, plasma (citrate), and plasma (EDTA) sample types. Cell culture supernatant, saliva, urine, milk, CSF, cell extract, and tissue extract samples have not been tested with this kit.
