CMA1 is found in cytoplasmic granules before it is released. It converts angiotensin I to angiotensin II and is the major enzyme responsible for doing so in the heart (2). CMA1 can promote pathogenesis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) by inducing TNF-α in lung macrophages (3). CMA1 activity is also implicated in fibrosis in various tissues (4). In COVID-19 patients, CMA1-positive mast cells are significantly elevated, and CMA1 levels are associated with disease severity (5,6). In gastric cancer, CMA1 has been proposed as a prognostic marker, with high expression associated with poor overall survival and with high levels of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) (7).\n\u003cb\u003eAlternate Names\u003c\/b\u003e\nAlpha-chymase; Chymase; chymase 1; chymase 1 preproprotein transcript E; chymase 1 preproprotein transcript I; chymase 1, mast cell; chymase, heart; chymase, mast cell; CMA1; CYH; CYM; Mast cell protease I; MCT1; MGC119890; MGC119891\n\n\u003cb\u003eSpecification\u003c\/b\u003e\n\nREACTIVITY: H\nSENSITIVITY: Endogenous\nSource\/Isotype: Rabbit IgG","brand":"CST","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46800276226217,"sku":"18992T","price":0.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"url":"https:\/\/iright.com\/products\/cst-18992t","provider":"Iright","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
