Ectopic expression of FBP2\/FBPase 2 represses soft tissue sarcoma cell proliferation and tumor growth. Studies show that cytosolic FBP2\/FBPase 2 inhibits glycolysis through its catalytic activity, suppressing sarcoma cell proliferation.
