In the mouse, brachyury is necessary for mesodermal morphogenetic cell movements during gastrulation. Brachyury mutant mice die and display deficient mesoderm formation including an abnormal notochord, missing posterior somites, and a reduced allantois (2). Human brachyury is expressed in the notochord, as well as in chordoma tumors that occur along the spine, making it a good marker for notochord and notochord-derived tumors (3,4). A common polymorphism in the human gene has also been shown to be associated with development of the multifactorial neural tube defect, spina bifida (5,6).\n\u003cb\u003eAlternate Names\u003c\/b\u003e\nBRAC; Brachyury; Brachyury protein; MGC104817; OTTHUMP00000017588; Protein T; SAVA; T; T brachyury; T brachyury transcription factor; T brachyury-like; T-box transcription factor T; T, brachyury homolog; T, brachyury homolog (mouse); TBXT; TFT; transcription factor T\n\n\u003cb\u003eSpecification\u003c\/b\u003e\n\nREACTIVITY: H\nSENSITIVITY: Endogenous\nMW (kDa): 54\nSource\/Isotype: Rabbit IgG","brand":"CST","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46799926263977,"sku":"81694S","price":0.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"url":"https:\/\/iright.com\/products\/cst-81694s","provider":"Iright","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
