It is the terminal enzyme complex in the respiratory chain, catalyzing the reduction of molecular oxygen to water coupled to the translocation of protons across the mitochondrial inner membrane to drive ATP synthesis. The three largest subunits forming the catalytic core are encoded by mitochondrial DNA, while the other smaller subunits, including COX IV, are nuclear-encoded. Research studies have shown that deficiency in COX activity correlates with a number of human diseases (4). The COX IV antibody can be used effectively as a mitochondrial loading control in cell-based research assays.\n\u003cb\u003eAlternate Names\u003c\/b\u003e\nCOX IV-1; COX4; COX4-1; COX41; COX4I1; COXIV; COXIV-1; Cytochrome c oxidase polypeptide IV; Cytochrome c oxidase subunit 4 isoform 1, mitochondrial; cytochrome c oxidase subunit 4I1; cytochrome c oxidase subunit IV; Cytochrome c oxidase subunit IV isoform 1; MGC72016\n\n\u003cb\u003eSpecification\u003c\/b\u003e\n\nREACTIVITY: H M R Mk","brand":"CST","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46800677830825,"sku":"82058V2","price":0.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"url":"https:\/\/iright.com\/products\/cst-82058v2","provider":"Iright","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
