A one-step addition of the reagent results in cell lysis followed by caspase cleavage of the substrate and generation of a luminescent signal. Luminescence is proportional to the amount of caspase activity present.\u003cbr\u003e\nThe assay is validated for use in a wide range of 3D cell models and is suitable for high-throughput applications.
