DEAD family proteins use energy from ATP hydrolysis for RNA chaperoning and RNPase activity (PMID: 27121695). As a core member of the survival motor neuron (SMN) complex, DDX20 participate in small nuclear ribonucleoprotein (snRNP) biogenesis. Second, DDX20 have direct roles in gene expression in view of its implication in transcription and post-transcriptional gene silencing. Addition, the false expression of DDX20 could have deleterious effects on cellular homeostasis thus leading to cancer development and progression (PMID:29523774). Anymore, DDX20 could be identified as a biomarker and metastasis-driving oncogene of human breast cancer (PMID: 25083991). \nThe detected weight of DDX20 is slightly higher than the theoretical molecular weight that is because of phosphorylation after translation.\n\u003cb\u003eSpecification\u003c\/b\u003e\nTested Reactivity: human, mouse\nCited Reactivity: human, mouse\nHost \/ Isotype: Rabbit \/ IgG\nClass: Polyclonal\nType: Antibody\nImmunogen: CatNo: Ag1863 Product name: Recombinant human DDX20 protein Source: e coli. -derived, PGEX-4T Tag: GST Domain: 520-824 aa of BC011556 Sequence: SHSECGIIEKATSPKELGCDRQSEEQMKNSVQTPVENSTNSQHQVKEALPVSLPQIPCLSSFKIHQPYTLTFAELVEDYEHYIKEGLEKPVEIIRHYTGPGDQTVNPQNGFVRNKVTEQRVPVLASSSQSGDSESDSDSYSSRTSSQSKGNKSYLEGSSDNQLKDSESTPVDDRISLEQPPNGSDTPNPEKYQESPGIQMKTRLKEGASQRAKQSRRNLPRRSSFRLQTEAQEDDWYDCHREIRLSFSDTYQDYEEYWRAYYRAWQEYYAAASHSYYWNAQRHPSWMAAYHMNTIYLQEMMHSNQ Predict reactive species\nFull Name: DEAD (Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp) box polypeptide 20\nCalculated Molecular Weight: 824 aa, 92 kDa\nObserved Molecular Weight: 100 kDa\nGenBank Accession Number: BC011556\nGene Symbol: DDX20\nGene ID (NCBI): 11218\nRRID: AB_2092401\nConjugate: Unconjugated\nForm: Liquid\nPurification Method: Antigen affinity purification\nUNIPROT ID: Q9UHI6\nStorage Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3.\nStorage Conditions: Store at -20°C.
