PDCD6 is involved in regulating multifaceted and pleiotropic cellular processes in different cellular compartments. The nuclear PDCD6 regulates apoptosis and alternative splicing. And cytoplasmic PDCD6 is involved in the regulation of cytoskeletal dynamics and innate immune responses.
