AAT is a glycoprotein synthesized primarily by hepatocytes, with smaller amountssynthesized by intestinal epithelial cells, neutrophils, pulmonary alveolar cells and macrophages. AAT is the most abundant, endogenous serine protease inhibitor in blood circulation and it has been implicated in regulating vital fluid phase biological events such as blood coagulation, fibrinolysis, complement activation, apoptosis, reproduction, tumor progression and inflammatory response. The primary function of AAT is thought to be the inactivation of neutrophil elastase and other endogenous serine proteases. Defects in SERPINA1 can cause emphysema or liver disease.\n\u003cb\u003eSpecification\u003c\/b\u003e\nTested Reactivity: human, mouse\nHost \/ Isotype: Rabbit \/ IgG\nClass: Polyclonal\nType: Antibody\nImmunogen: CatNo: Ag22631 Product name: Recombinant human a1-antitrypsin protein Source: e coli. -derived, PGEX-4T Tag: GST Domain: 223-327 aa of BC011991 Sequence: EVKDTEEEDFHVDQVTTVKVPMMKRLGMFNIQHCKKLSSWVLLMKYLGNATAIFFLPDEGKLQHLENELTHDIITKFLENEDRRSASLHLPKLSITGTYDLKSVL Predict reactive species\nFull Name: serpin peptidase inhibitor, clade A (alpha-1 antiproteinase, antitrypsin), member 1\nObserved Molecular Weight: 47-50 kDa\nGenBank Accession Number: BC011991\nGene Symbol: Alpha 1-Antitrypsin\nGene ID (NCBI): 5265\nRRID: AB_3669504\nConjugate: Unconjugated\nForm: Liquid\nPurification Method: Antigen affinity purification\nUNIPROT ID: P01009\nStorage Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3.\nStorage Conditions: Store at -20°C.
