Upon excitation at 320 or 340 nm, energy can be transferred from the donor Europium chelate to the acceptor fluorophore if sufficiently close for FRET (~10 nm). This results in the emission of light at 665 nm.\u003cbr\u003e\nAngiopoietin-like 3, also known as ANGPTL3, is a glycoprotein that is structurally related to other members of the angiopoietin family. It is expressed predominantly in the liver, and contains a signal peptide, an N-terminal coiled-coil domain, and a C-terminal fibrinogen-like domain. Angiopoietin-like 3 is a determinant factor of HDL levels and positively correlates with plasma HDL cholesterol. It may also play a role in the regulation of angiogenesis.
