Answer:This is the high-sensitivity dsDNA assay.
Answer:The assay measures 0.1–120 ng of double-stranded DNA.
Answer:The kit contains reagents for 100 assays.
Qubit™ dsDNA Quantification Assay Kits is designed for highly selective fluorescence quantitation of double-stranded DNA in samples containing low DNA amounts. This configuration is the high-sensitivity dsDNA assay and supplies reagents for 100 assays, with a DNA mass quantitation range of 0.1–120 ng. Its fluorescent chemistry preferentially detects double-stranded DNA over single-stranded DNA, RNA, protein, and free nucleotides, supporting more selective measurements than total nucleic acid absorbance. The supplied components include concentrated assay reagent, dilution buffer, and prediluted DNA standards. Prepare the working solution by diluting the reagent into its buffer, add a 1–20 µL sample aliquot, and measure fluorescence using a compatible Qubit Fluorometer. The supported starting-sample concentration range depends on the volume added and spans approximately 0.005–120 ng/µL. This assay is suited to checking low-abundance DNA prior to molecular biology workflows where input DNA concentration matters. It supports reproducible comparison of samples using the kit's prepared standards and an instrument-specific measurement workflow. The assay is intended for research use, not diagnostic procedures.
