The HDC II pleated polypropylene filter uses fibers of varying diameters to produce a pore size distribution from coarse (upstream) to fine (downstream). The pleated construction permits more contaminant to be trapped in the outer and inner layers of the medium, thereby substantially increasing dirt-holding capacity.

HDC II filters are available in absolute removal ratings from 0.6 to 70 μm and are all polypropylene for compatibility with a wide range of fluids. The filters have more open area and pores than filters of similar appearance.
Traditional style filter cartridges To support stainless steel applications, the filte cartridges offer a single open end 2 ¾″ (70 mm) diameter element with double external O-rings at one end. Multiple 10″ (254 mm) filter segments are melt sealed together to form lengths of 20″ (508 mm), 30″ (762 mm) and 40″ (1016 mm). Most commonly recommended to be used with Advanta™ series filter housings. Sealkleen™ style filter cartridges Sngle open end 2 ¼ “ (57 mm) diameter element (excluding flange) that incorporates a patented seal to eliminate fluid bypass from the upstream to the downstream side of the filter. The elastomeric o-ring is placed on a special flange, which is an integral part of the element outlet end cap. MCY and SBF style junior cartridges Junior filter cartridges (MCY style) are single-use filter cartridges, for use with in-line stainless steel filter housings, and feature double O-ring piston seals comparable to AB-style filter cartridges. They are designed for processing of volumes of material (30 L to 500 L) in a small-to-mid-size GMP manufacturing environment. Junior filter cartridges (SBF style) are the smallest of Cyitva’s replaceable cartridge format filters to feature a pleated membrane, and function with dedicated stainless steel housings. They are ideal for the processing of small volumes of fluid (2 L to 50 L) for R&D, process development or small-scale manufacturing. * >99.98% by modified OSU-F2 Beta test
