Magnetic Mixer 50 L biocontainer, standard design, round Single-use biocontainer bags for Cytiva Magnetic Mixers are made from Allegro™ bioprocess film, which is animal-derived component free (ADCF) and complies fully with USP Class VI requirements. The biocontainers include a bottom-mounted single-use impeller that magnetically couples with the mixer drive unit. The biocontainers come in a variety of sizes and are designed to be fitted into either stainless steel or plastic mixing tanks. The magnetically coupled impeller is well suited for high-viscosity or heavy powder mixing applications. The product-contact layer of Allegro™ film is produced under cleanroom conditions then laminated to create a gas barrier film of cleanliness, strength, and clarity. Pre-configured biocontainer bag options: Standard biocontainer (options available for either cubical or round mixing tanks) Designed for most standard mixing operations, this configuration offers two top inlets, a 4 inch powder port, a bottom drain, and a sampling valve. The connector types used in this configuration are MPX and MPC. General-use biocontainer (cubical tanks only) Designed for open processing with universal sanitary flange Tri-Clamp connections. This biocontainer design has two main inlets and two smaller inlets on the top face, a 4 inch powder port, a sampling port , two sensor ports, and a bottom drain. The design is made to be as universal as possible and it is well suited for applications such as sensing, pH adjustment, buffer prep, and media prep. Filtered product biocontainer (cubical tanks only) The filtered product biocontainer is designed for closed processing and has no powder port. It has a Kleenpak™ Presto sterile inlet connector, and the choice of a Kleenpak™ Presto sterile connector or a Tri-Clamp sanitary flange. Flexibility designed in Magnetic Mixer single-use biocontainer bags are part of a modular mixing system family that also includes LevMixer™ systems. They use the same tanks and interchangeable drive units to enable maximal flexibility.
