Description: Description The CD57 antibody, clone HNK-1, is derived from hybridization of P3-X63-Ag8.653 mouse myeloma cells with lymph node cells from BALB/c mice immunized with membrane extracts of the HSB-2 T–lymphoblastoid cell line. The CD16 (Leu-11c) antibody, clone B73.1, is derived from hybridization of P3-X63-Ag8.653 mouse myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with NK lymphocytes. The CD3 antibody, clone SK7, is derived from hybridization of NS-1 mouse myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with human thymocytes. The CD57 antibody recognizes a 110-kilodalton (kDa) glycoprotein that is expressed on a subset of NK lymphocytes and T lymphocytes. The antigen is a carbohydrate structure associated with myelin-associated glycoprotein (MAG). The CD16 antibodies recognizes a 50- to 65-kDa antigen present on human NK lymphocytes that is the IgG Fc receptor III. The CD3 antibody reacts with the epsilon chain of the CD3 antigen/T-cell antigen receptor (TCR) complex. The antigen recognized by CD3 antibodies is noncovalently associated with either α/β or γ/δ TCR (70 to 90 kDa).
