Hyperfilm™ ECL™ film provides low background with reduction in visible artifacts, and excellent low concentration target detection. Hyperfilm™ ECL™ film is suitable for use with all blue and green light chemiluminescent systems and validated for use with ECL™ start reagent , ECL™ reagent , ECL™ Prime reagent , ECL Select™ reagent , and CDP-Star reagent . Hyperfilm™ ECL™ film is constructed from a clear base coated on both sides with a photographic emulsion that is protected by an anti-scratch layer. The anti-scratch coating reduces the risk of visible artifacts (e.g., plastic wrap marks), and the clear colorless base results in easy reading of images without compromising on sensitivity.
