The EZ1 Advanced DNA Large-Scale Bone Card is programmed with protocols for the purification of DNA from bone or teeth lysates. Principle

The EZ1 Advanced DNA Large-Scale Bone Card is a preprogrammed card containing protocols for purification of DNA from lysates of bone or teeth. The EZ1 Advanced DNA Large-Scale Bone Card is used in combination with the EZ1 DNA Investigator Kit and the EZ1 Advanced instrument.

Procedure

Samples are ground into a fine powder, decalcified, and lysed. The EZ1 Advanced can process up to 6 samples per run with sample volumes of 1.0, 1.5, or 1.8 ml. The card provides on-screen instructions for the user and operating commands for the instrument.
