Additional Information
ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 Column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 150 mm, 1/pk Harness the full potential of small particles and the benefits of quicker separations, superior resolution, and greener chromatography with the ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 column. By providing higher quality chromatographic information in less time, the ACQUITY UPLC column family has been able to maintain its status as one of the premier product lines in LC column innovation. Designed, certified, and tested for use in applications up to 15,000 psi (1000 bar), ACQUITY UPLC columns allow chromatographers to harness ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 columns offer these benefits and transition seamlessly from more conventional HPLC applications. Dramatically improve resolution, sample throughput, and sensitivity with the ACQUITY UPLC system, which is designed holistically to be more retentive compared to the ACQUITY BEH C8 column, which may be preferable for method developers who want the peak shape and performance offered by a more retentive column, while still offering improved speed. Enjoy the benefits of UPLC technology with this family of lab equipment , as they offer optimized efficiency in combination with Waters’ BEH hybrid-particle technology. Create a material with superior mechanical strength, efficiency, high pH stability, and peak shape for bases with this innovation that offers the best properties of inorganic (silica) and organic (polymeric) packings. The second-generation BEH technology is a key driver of the improved speed, sensitivity, and resolution of UPLC separations. Ensure excellent and reproducible performance with each batch of ACQUITY UPLC BEH material, as it is chromatographically tested across acidic, basic, and neutral analytes and results are held to narrow specification ranges. Utilize the Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material as an additional source of quality control in your work, and rest assured that all ACQUITY UPLC BEH columns are manufactured in the same facilities that produce leading HPLC columns. Achieve maximum chromatographic performance and benefits with the ACQUITY UPLC columns, which are specifically created for use with the ACQUITY UPLC system. Waters cannot support the use of ACQUITY UPLC columns on any other system.

FAQ
What Is Resolution? In chromatography, resolution is a measure of the separation of two peaks of different retention time (t) in a chromatogram. The resolving power of an LC column is expressed by its length to particle size ratio (1/dp). Columns with higher 1/dp ratios provide greater efficiencies and are typically used in the most difficult separations. Many chromatographers choose columns in order to meet their needs for a combination of column length, 1/dp ratio, efficiency, and separation type.
Longer columns allow challenging separations to be run with high resolution and moderate analysis time. Challenging separations can include impurity profiling, metabolite ID analyses, and drug stability monitoring.
