The monoclonal antibody was purified from tissue culture supernatant or ascites by affinity chromatography. The antibody was conjugated with biotin under optimum conditions, and unreacted biotin was removed.
Recommended Assay Procedures: Recommended Assay Procedures ELISA Detection: The biotinylated P2C11 antibody (Cat. No. 559958) is useful as a detection antibody for a sandwich ELISA that measures pig IFN-γ protein levels. Biotinylated P2C11 antibody can be paired with the purified P2G10 antibody (Cat. No. 559961) as the capture antibody, with recombinant pig IFN-γ as the standard. Biotin P2C11 antibody should be titrated (0.25 - 1.0 µg/ml) to determine its optimal concentration for ELISA detection. To obtain linear standard curves, doubling dilutions of recombinant pig IFN-γ protein ranging from ~200 to 1.5 pg/ml are recommended for inclusion in each ELISA plate.
