T Capto™ adhere multimodal anion exchange (AIEX) resin is designed for purification of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) after the protein A step at process scale. Key features

Different selectivity from traditional IEX resins Capto™ adhere resin is composed of a rigid, high-flow agarose matrix and a novel multimodal ligand. The strong multimodal ligand gives a different selectivity from that of conventional ion exchange (IEX) resins. Second step in mAb chromatographic process Capto™ adhere resin can remove key contaminants such as DNA, host cell proteins (HCP), leached protein A, dimers and larger aggregates, and viruses in a single step. Together with a protein A capture step , (using, for example, MabSelect™ SuRe resin ), Capto™ adhere resin allows the design of a two-step chromatographic process for mAbs. Part of the Capto™ adhere family For optimal performance of Capto™ adhere, screening and optimization of loading conditions is recommended, preferably using modern high-throughput process development tools, such as PreDictor™ 96-well filter plates. Prepacked columns and other formats Capto™ adhere resin is available in the following formats: Process development scale PreDictor™ Capto™ adhere filter plates , 96-well plates for high-throughput screening or process development. PreDictor™ Capto™ adhere RoboColumn units , miniaturized columns for high-throughput process development. HiScreen™ Capto™ adhere columns , optimized for method and process development. f (x) column , prepacked and precharacterized chromatography column for fast and accurate mechanistic modeling. Validation columns , scale-down columns for robust and reproducible process validation and process development (Tricorn™ format) Lab scale (for manual or automated systems) HiTrap™ Capto™ adhere columns , for easy use with a syringe, peristaltic pump, or chromatography system.
