Sartocon® Cassette

Sartocon® cassettes are designed with self-sealing features, minimal extractables, and enlarged feed and retentate ports to reduce system pressure drops. These cassettes are ideally integrated with Sartorius Sartocon holders and systems for optimized performance.

Hydrosart® Membrane

Sartocon® Hydrosart® cassettes are distinguished by their ultra-low protein adsorption, straightforward cleaning procedures, increased yield, and extended product lifespan. The Hydrosart® ultrafiltration membrane consistently maintains high performance with minimal fouling or loss of retention, even with repeated use.

Hydrosart® is a stabilized cellulose-based, high-performance membrane specifically optimized for biopharmaceutical processing applications. It is highly stable across a wide pH range, exceptionally hydrophilic, which reduces protein binding, and demonstrates virtually no fouling. Membrane depyrogenation can be efficiently performed using NaOH, even at high temperatures, making Hydrosart® particularly suited for biological processes.

Sartocon® Polyethersulfone TFF cassettes are extensively utilized in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, offering stability over a broad operational range. PES membranes can be effectively regenerated, stored, and depyrogenated using NaOH, even at elevated temperatures.

Flow Channel Geometry

The Sartocon® product line offers two distinct flow channel geometries. E-Screen filters are predominantly applied for protein concentrations exceeding 20% and viscosities higher than 3 cp. ECO-Screen filters are optimal for economical filtration of aqueous protein solutions below 20% concentration and viscosities under 3 cp.
