Preparation And Storage: Preparation And Storage Store undiluted at 4°C. The monoclonal antibody was purified from tissue culture supernatant or ascites by affinity chromatography. This preparation contains no preservatives, thus it should be handled under aseptic conditions.
Recommended Assay Procedures: Recommended Assay Procedures ELISA: Biotin Rat Anti-Human IL-4 antibody (Clone MP4-25D2, Cat. No. 554483) has been reported to be useful as a detection antibody for sandwich ELISA measuring human IL-4 protein levels. Biotinylated MP4-25D2 antibody can be paired with the Purified Mouse Anti-Human IL-4 antibody (Clone 8D4-8, Cat. No. 554515/556917) as the capture antibody, with recombinant human IL-4 (Cat. No. 554605) as the standard.  For measuring human IL-4 in complex biological fluids, such as serum or plasma, investigators are highly encouraged to use the BD OptEIA™ Human IL-4 ELISA Set (Cat. No. 555194) or BD OptEIA™ Human IL-4 ELISA Kit II (Cat. No. 550614).
