iCELLis 500 bioreactor vessel, 66 m²
The iCELLis 500+ bioreactor vessel contains a pre-packed fixed-bed made of Cytiva’s proprietary cell attachment carriers The carriers are made of medical grade polyethylene terephthalate (PET) microfibers. All vessels are gamma irradiated and ready to use - no assembly required. The vessel specifications are as follow:
• A body made of Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol (PETG) parts, including a double-jacket for temperature control.
• A fixed-bed made of PET carriers; 6 versions of the fixed bed exist with a total surface from 66 m² to 500 m². They differ by fixed bed height (2, 4, 10 cm) and compaction (1x, 1.5x).
• Includes different tubing and accessories such as integrated single-use pH, DO, pressure, and optional biomass sensors.
