4Cell® XtraCHO is a chemically defined, protein-free, serum-free, and hydrolysate-free media. The portfolio includes 4 different formulations:
4Cell® XtraCHO Media are formulated to maximize product titers of the Sartorius CHO-DG44 cell lines (from cell line development projects delivered through the end of 2022). It provides robust performance in small- and large-scale production systems such as flasks, Ambr® 15 | 250 and bioreactors.

4Cell® XtraCHO Production Medium (PM) is a non-selective production medium for batch or for fed-batch culture of for Sartorius CHO-DG44 cell lines.
Needs to be supplemented with L-Glutamine prior to use following the instructions for use, usually at 4 – 6 mM final concentration.
