Product Description
UltraPure™ Dithiothreitol UltraPure™ Dithiothreitol (DTT, Cleland's reagent), which reduces disulfides to their corresponding thiols, is used at low concentrations to stabilize enzymes containing free sulfhydryl groups. Higher concentrations of DTT are used to cleave disulfide linkages in polypeptides and to facilitate protein denaturation by detergents or chaotropic agents.
