Quantity: 45 mL Gibco™ Hepatocyte Thaw Medium is a ready-to-use medium specifically designed for use with thawed cryopreserved hepatocytes to enhance their viability and overall quality. This medium is provided in a 50 mL conical tube for ease of use.

Simply warm the tube of media to 37°C prior to thawing the cryopreserved hepatocytes. Once the medium is warm, thaw the cryopreserved hepatocytes per the Gibco™ protocol. Once the hepatocytes are thawed, pour the cells directly into the pre-warmed tube of Hepatocyte Thaw Medium and centrifuge. Remove the supernatant and proceed with the next steps of your experiment. There is no need to centrifuge the hepatocytes a second time.
