5 This buffer solution is used for eluting (dissociating) antibodies in various antibody purification procedures such as affinity purification of antibody using peptide coupled to a column. It is widely used as a buffer for a variety of immunological applications. Glycine is also used as an eluent in column chromatography. Glycine has been reported for use in the enzymatic determination of lactate using lactic dehydrogenase.
