How Should I Store And/Or Dispose Of Used Sep-Park Florisil Cartridges? Sep-Pak Florisil cartridges that are stored in their original sealed pouch remain stable for long periods without concern for contamination. Once opened, special care will be needed to ensure they are not exposed to the laboratory environment for long durations. Highly active sorbents will readily accumulate background contaminants from the environment, impacting the quality of the device.
Waters recommends that you open and use only the needed cartridges. If this is not possible, store exposed cartridges in clean and contaminant-free containers like desiccators.
