Made from high-performance, glass-filled polymer, the GFP Plunger Seal is manufactured with an internal spring that is designed to provide the correct pressure on the plunger, increasing the life of both the sapphire plunger and the seal itself. Waters® has determined that the Clear-100™ Seal is best suited to most applications and is the seal most commonly used in Waters solvent delivery systems and Performance Maintenance Kits. However, the GFP seal may be a better choice in certain applications.
