PLUS™ Reagent PLUS™ Reagent is used in conjunction with various transfection reagents, such as Lipofectamine™ Reagent, to improve transfection efficiency in adherent cell lines.
Using PLUS™ ReagentSome customers find that when using PLUS™ Reagent, less optimization of DNA concentration is needed to achieve high transfection performance. The addition of PLUS™ Reagent may also reduce the quantities of DNA and lipid required by approximately one-half compared to lipid alone. PLUS™ Reagent was specifically designed to expand the array of transfectable cell types. When used with Lipofectamine™ Reagent, PLUS™ Reagent has been demonstrated to improve the transfection of BHK-21, NIH 3T3, and other cell lines.
