5 L CHO-S-SFM II, is a complete, serum-free, low-protein (less than 100 μg/ml) medium optimized for the growth and maintenance of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells in suspension culture for production of recombinant proteins. This medium contains no thymidine or hypoxanthine (the supplemented medium is alsoavailable). This ready-to-use medium is suitable for the suspension culturing of CHO and other cells in batch, continuous, and perfusion culture systems. A CHO-S-SFM II medium Drug Master File (DMF) has been submitted to the FDA.
