Samples assessed as positive using the SureTect™ Escherichia coli O157:H7 and STEC Screening PCR Assay are further tested using this SureTect™ Escherichia coli STEC Identification PCR Assay. The assay has been AOAC-RI and AFNOR (ISO 16140-2:2016) validated on a range of food, including low and high sample sizes of raw meat (excluding poultry), vegetables, fruits, juices, and dairy samples, and it enables users to reliably detect and differentiate Shiga-toxin producingEscherichia coli O157:H7and other STEC in as little as 10 hours.
