50 kDa Pierce Crossflow Cassettes are designed for easy setup, flexibility, and robust performance. They can process sample solutions ranging from 0. 5 to 3 liters in volume and operate via a peristaltic pump pressure-driven process where the sample solution containing solutes are pushed tangentially across the surface of a specialized Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane with low protein binding characteristics. The membrane surface per device is 200 cm2and is offered in five different molecular-weight cutoffs (MWCOs) of 3, 10, 30, 50, and 100 kDa, providing a range of options to suit various needs.
